Concert programme announced

WELCOME TO TINE@MUNCH MUSIC FESTIVAL

Tine Thing Helseth is initiator and the artistic director of tine@munch music festival. She is the one who's put together this year's programme for the festival, and what a programme! Parts of the concerts is dedicated to Edvard Munch himself, either through inspiration from his art, as is the case with the new composition "Three Pictures" by Gisle Kverndokk, or through what contemporary sources say about the artist's relationship to music and musicians. The midday concerts also has themes found in Munch's art.

But most of all you'll experience exciting music in atmospheric halls, and with a very fine line of classical performers. Participants in this year's tine@munch music festical is Tine Thing Helseth, Truls Mørk, Leif Ove Andsnes, Nicola Benedetti, Kathryn Stott, Charlie Siem, Isa Katharina Gericke, Ingrid Bjørnov, Gunnar Flagstad and Tine Thing Helseth Quintet.
