World premiere on a Byström composition

Britta Byström is a Swedish composer composing for different ensembles and occasions - chamber music, vocal music, orchestras and opera. She's known for working towards beauty in her music, and has said that "I try to create poetic and beautiful music, which can tempt the listener into an aesthetic experience". Her music has been performed by - amongst others - the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, the International Youth Wind Orchestra, the Jena Philharmonic Orchestra and the Norwegian Radio Orchestra (KORK).

For tine@munch 2014 she's working on a chamber music piece, and amongst the participants on the world premiere is Tine Thing Helseth and Andreas Ottensamer. The world premiere is at the opening concert on Tuesday June 12, 7:30 pm.
